About the author

Alina Walch is a doctoral student at EPFL, working on the NRP75 project “HyEnergy”. The aim of the project is the estimation of different forms of renewable energy and their compatibility. After her studies in Munich, Germany, she studied electrical Engineering at Imperial College London and obtained a Master’s degree (Meng) there. In her studies she focused on energy systems and data science, which she combines in her doctoral thesis in an interdisciplinary fashion.
